I keep getting a miss fire on #1 cyl. I've changed the plug twice, swapped injectors, new wire, new coil pack, and have checked for air leaks. Is it possible that the cotrol module is bad? Or am I missing something. This is a 4.6 engine

Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Also, have you checked for compression in that cylender and for vacuum leaks?

It could be the PCM, but have you checked for an injector pulse to that cylender? Also, if you remove the plug, is it wet, black?

The plug is dry. Can the local dealer check the PCM.
Being the miss is not constant, would they be able to read it. Also I check for the pulse. I think I may loose mine trying to figure this one out.

A dealer should be able to check the PCM. As far as the plug being dry, if it is not firing, it should be wet unless it's not getting fuel.

As far as the injector pulse, (don't lose yours (lol).

I'll have it checked at the local dealer. It will save my pulse, and only give up the rest of my hair. (Lol) thanks for the help this is the first time used this.

My hair is about gone too. You should try fixing cars that are thousands of miles away. I can see them, hear them, touch them. It's hard, but I love doing it.

Let me know what you find.
