Last week started with difficulty getting key to turn in the ignition. Now it is completely frozen, so I cannot get the truck started! It may just be worn. What is the repair associated with this problem, parts, amount of time to repair, etc. What is the minimum-maximum I can expect for costs?

How cold is it out? If you warm up the vehicle say park in a heated garage does it turn fine?

Try wiggling the steering wheel and turning it or have someone rock the vehicle was you do that. Will it move now?

Try lubing up the key wiht graphite lock lube and spraying in the cylinder and hitting it on the ends and the tops of the housing with your hand or TAP it with a hammer. Then put key in and pull it out then back in a few times then try and turn it. Any better?
