Hey there,

the other day my oil pressure in my truck just started reading low, its -20, to -40 this week and im just not sure whats going on, dipstick says its plenty full, but the gauge reads below to normal, I know its not a "real" gauge, but its trippin me out, the truck hasnt displayed any odd signs of behavior I dont have MASSIVE pools of oil under the truck to say its leakin like a son of a bitch.
just curious, could something be frozen? Just not sure what to do. Thanks a lot guys!
Curtis.

That cold? Does it get higher pressure when it warms up?

What thickness oil you running I wouldnt run anything more then 5w-20 in that cold of weather, hard for the oil to build up pressure when its thick as molassis.
