1984 Ford F-150 overheating issues

After about 10 miles the vehicle overhheats. It was parked for a while and has new spark plugs and spark plug wires, distributor and cap, Central module, and a rebulit carb. What could the problem be?

Hi there,

Check for a stuck thermostat and a clogged radiator, you will need the radiator to be check at a radiator shop as back flushing wont do any good.
