I change my brakes 1 year ago to a regular mechanic, but now is making an noise (the usual noise, I do not know how to described, probably as scquicky noise. My question is, it is better to take the car to a brake specialist (like Midas) or any mechanic can do the job well.

Midas is not a brake specialist.

The noise may not mean that you need to do any repairs.

You can contact the shop that did the repair and see what they find. Maybe warranty? This is what I suggest you do.

You can pull it apart yourelf. I can guide you.
