Electrical problem
2002 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The lights under the rear view mirrors stay on. I took the fuse out and it also makes other things not work. What could the problem be? Could it be a sensor or something?

Do you have a switch for them or do they only come on with the door?

The only thing I can tell you is there must be a short sending power to them. If the interior lights all turn off, it should too. The only thing to do is start back tracking wiring to find where the power is coming from.
