How do I swith from 4x4 auto mode to high? Can it be done while driving?

You can switch it to 4hi when moving. I recommend that you only do it below 35 MPH. Also, never shift into 4lo when moving. 4lo is made for very low speeds (not exceeding about 25mph), but a lot of power.
