1999 Ford Explorer reverse problem

I have 99 ford explorer I have had the transmission rebuilt twice. and I still ahve the same proble. Which is when You put it in reverse sometimes it will back up just fine other times it will hardly move. I am at my wits end nobody body has an anwsers. Please if you have had this problem please help!!!! Thanks for any comments

How long ago was the last rebuild?
miliege and date?

and the first time?

Same shop?

first time was feb 2007

mileage was about 115000

second rebuild was aug 2007

yes both were done at same shop.

Owner of shop has been very good about trying to work on it ,just can't seem to fix problem.

Ask him to install a jasper rebuild.

Jasper is a reman company that does engines and transmissions. The offer a good warranty and do needed upgrades. The cover labor costs in the event they screw up...very rare.
I think the shop you deal with will be aware of them.
