1999 Ford Explorer

i recently changed front shocks and had car jacked up. Turned ignition key on and did not start car, turned wheels and power steering fluid squirted out of vent hole in the cap. Now having issue when turning wheels while driving with it putting load on motor and almost stalling it while making turns even after re-filling the power steering fluid. What seems to be my problem ??

The fluid leakage is pretty normal when you turn the wheels with the engine shut off. Just replace the lost fluid and clean the mess.

There shouldn't be any other problems. I have noticed that they will chatter a litter for a short period after letting the wheels hang. I don't know the reason and it's usually temporary.
