In cold weather my explorer NEVER wants to start..what is the darn problem..i have talked to alot of other 99 owners and they to have the same problem. Have taken it to the dealers and never get an answer was told it was my battery one time, and have replaced the battery several times and it still happens... so i am saying its not the battery

does it start wth the aid of starting fluid or gas dumped down the throttle body?

does it start at all or just crank and crank and crank and not start.

No it starts but it doesnt stay...You have to keep pushing the throttle till it warms up...It seems to take along time to get warm

check the intake air temp sensor resistance and the coolant temperature sensor resistance and compare them to eachother, should be similar.

they could be causing the probllem.
