Tires and Wheels problem
1999 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

recently when I turn the wheel to the right my truck has been making a strange pulling sensation and it feels almost like im on gravel and the tire cant catch, there is also a build up of a black substance on the right rim. PLEASE HELP! Thx in advance :-)

Sounds to me like you have a issue with a dragging brake. Jack up vehicle and try to turn the wheel by hand. Turn wheel to when problem starts and try turning it again. Notice anything?

Try with 4x4 on and off.
