I have a noise mostly when going down hill, its like a whing noise, if I hit brake and gas lightly at same time it stops, seems to be shifting properly, any ideas?

Have you checked drive line fluids such as trans, transfer case, differentials?

Then chances are it is a bearing. You need to have the vehicle placed on a lift and placed in gear to see if the noise location can be determined. Have that done and let me know what you find.
