Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I seem to have a coolant leak. But I am not sure if it is the water pump or heater core. The radiator cap has very low pressure. The leak seems to be very slow, but will continue without the car running.

The water pump will show a leak under the engine compartment. The heater core will leak into the passanger side of the vehicle. (Is the carpet wet?)

Let me know what you have seen.

Well I can see it leaking from under the passenger side of the car. It used to leak on the exhaust pipe, causing white smoke, but I used some stop leak and that seemed to stop.
