Hello, I have a coolant leak only when the vehicle is off after driving it. The leak maybe last about 5 min- 10 min then stops. It drips doesn't leak like a faucet is running. I read in a forum that I could put an o ring inside the fitting is this true? The leak comes from underneath the fitting

Have it pressure checked it may be from the area in pic that looks to have been repaired with jb weld or something similar.

Yes, it is coming from the pipe I put silicone sealant thinking it would stop it but it didn't. Leak is coming between the wall of the radiator and the pipe fitting.
