1997 Ford Explorer Head torque specifications and tightenin

Need to know what the torque is for my vehicle. I think it is 274lb-ft@3200, but not sure. Also need to know what the tightening sequence is.

Torque of 274 at 3,200 is referring to an engines torque output, not a tightening spec.

you need the tightening torque specifications for the cylinder head, yes?

the torque specs for the head on your vehicle is below

STEP 1

tighten to 25 - 35 Ft. Lbs.

STEP 2

45 - 55 Ft. Lbs.

STEP 3

Additional 85 - 95 Degrees
