1996 Ford Explorer Manual

Hello I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that has a manual transmission. Today when I went to start it up, I pushed the clutch in and it became very stiff and will not release or shift into gear. I turned the truck off and now cannot get it to start because the clutch pedel is super stiff. Please Help ASAP!

Something is binding in the clutch mechanism. Transmission has to be removed to repair it.
