1994 Ford Explorer trans is broke?

I have a 1994 ford explore 4x4 5 speed, I wus driveing down the highway @ 55 with cruse on, and the moter reved up to redline (LOST 5TH GEAR) so I droped it to fourth and it went for about 100 feet and lost 4th, so I stoped and all gears seem to shift but the truck will not move! And the clutch feels fine;thanks

Sounds like your clutch disk is slipping. Most likely you need a new clutch. Even if your gear go in doesnt mean the clutch is good. Your clutch is worned out and needs replacing. Atleast for what you say it sounds like that. Easy to replace if your willing to do some dirty work.+You will save alot of money.
