Smells problem
1994 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My aunt who is 79 years old has 1994 ford explorer that has smoke around the back of the motor after it gets hot. I think it is oil leaking onto the exhaust, but I can't find the source. Any thoughts? THANKS!

Chances are either a valve cover gasket or intake gasket is leaking. Also, check under the truck to make sure the trans pan isn't leaking onto the exhaust.
