Electrical problem
2002 Ford Excursion Automatic 68500 miles

Hello, I have as stated an 02 V10 Excursion.
It started with a light in my dash saying there was a door not fully closed however they were all closed. Tried the Wd40 but that did not do anything. Then my doorlocks stopped working and I thought it was my remote's battery needed replacing. Then my side mirrors stopped working. And now my if the truck sits for more than a week (not used) the battery is dead. I replaced 2 actuator's but it did absolutely nothing and the dealer wants to charge me quite a bit. Is this a common problem with the fords?

Thank you in advance
Eli

I would say there is a problem with the body control module (BCM). Have that checked. Also, here is a how to for checking for electrical draws. If you find there is one, remove one fuse at a time until the draw stops. When it stops, you have found the circuit that is causing the dead battery.

Let me know what you find.
