Noises problem
2000 Ford Escort Automatic 108000 miles

I just paid almost $700.00 to have repairs made to my car. The mechanic has said that the problem was either the fuel pump, the fly wheel, or the timing belt. I picked the car up and after a few days it's started making a loud, rattling noise after it's warmed up a little. Does the timing belt need to be adjusted again?
I'm trying to get an invoice from the mechanic to see what repairs I've actually paid for but that's proving to be a little difficult.

The belt shouldn't need readjusted. It is done automatically. As far as the noise, can you tell aprox where it is coming from? Also, are there any dpecufic situations that cause the noise and can you better describe it?
