Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Ford Escort 90000 miles

Hello, my car has been stalling (or just basically cuts off) when I idle for too long. It doesn't happen all the time but the frequency is increasing. I've had a tune up, I've changed the coils that the spark plugs go into, I've gotten some part that shifts the car into idle replaced, I believe I've gotten a new fuel filter. Many of these seemed to work for a short time, but now the problem is occuring again. PLEASE HELP!

I checked the codes. The service engine light keeps coming on and it tells me that theres a problem with the ignition coil. I've replaced that 3 times. I've also replaced the idle control valve. I've gotten a new fuel filter/air filter and plugs. Now the car has begun shutting off when I press on the brake to come to a stop. I really hope you can give me some direction. PLEASE!
