I have a 98' Ford Escort Sport. I was driving on the expressway yesterday going about 70 mph and my car just died. I pulled over and when I tried to re-start it, it turned over but wouldn't start. What could my problem be?

Hi could be a timeing belt broke. Remove upper timeing cover bolts pull cover out a little see if belt is on cam. If so have someone crank eng carefully look and make sure belt is turning if yes belt is ok. Next check for spark remove plug wire ground to the eng. Crank if yes spark. Check fuel pressure at the rail. Billymac
