1998 Ford Escort check coolant light

Check coolant light comes on every morning when car is first started and sometimes throughout the day. What could cause this as I have checked the fluid level which is good.

If the coolant reservor (beside the passenger side fender) is full. Unhook the electrical wire connection on the coolant reservoir. Does the check coolant light still turns on when you start it. If it does not light on, then you need a new low coolant warning sensor attached to your coolant reservoir.
