when car ticks over its just right reves right but when driving when you push the cluch in it will reve to 3000 reves and will drive drive on its own with out touching th excellrator

Sounds like the clutch may be due for replacement. Slipping then catching again?

It has just gone though a mot test and it pasted. Didnt do it then. It started a few weeks ago reving its self up without touching the clutch pedal it is also using to much fuel up what else could it be because I dont think its the cluch slipping
