Engine Performance problem
1995 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When going from park to reverse or drive the car will try to stall. After leaving a stop sign and trying to accelerate the car will sputter and shift hard but when you finally get up to 55 the car will run fine except for some surging now and then. The car is at its worse until 55mph. When leaving from a stop the car acts like it is not getting any gas even with the gas pedal pressed all the way down. You can hear the engine rev but it takes awhile to get a reaction.

I have cleaned the throttle body and manifold. Replaced TPS sensor, ECT sensor, ACT sensor and ignition coil. Also have replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and idle air control valve.

The problems reminds me of someone who is having problems shifting a standard. Also had a valve job. Please help.
