1988 Ford Escort Noises fuel pump

My Ford Escort makes this noise ( Buzzing noise)from the fuel pump as soon as I start the car and continues while running. Any thoughts out there. Suggestion !

Hi there,

sounds like a faulty valve in the pump, this will not be serviceable, you will need a new pump, I have have a number of noisy pumps through my workshop, and I would say in every case a new pump fixed the problem, also a noisy pump is a sign that something is starting to fail, and pump failure may not be that far away.
