1999 Ford E-Series Van starts then shuts off

When I start the van it will run when I keep my foot on the gas. When I remove my foot from the accelerator it stalls out an shows a battery light and service engine light

Check the battery with a DVOM, cranking voltage should not drop below 9.5, recharge and retest if it does, replace if still the same. Check for loose/corroded wires, leaking vacuum lines, broken/damaged connectors, spark plugs, plug wires if applicable. Repair/replace as needed. If everything is ok, have the vehicle scanned. This will give you an idea what area to look in
