1999 Ford Crown Victoria 4 cyl Automatic 135000 miles

my? Is whenever I start to drive my car I start off idling at a slow rate then it kicks in its quiet somtimes then it starts tapping but a mechnic told me that its missfiring what do I need to and with 135,000 what type of oil do I need to use because I was told high milege would work

Most of the time its a bad plug wire. Have you ever changed the plug wire set?Also can be bad plug spark. Just tune it up with new wires and plugs and miteaswell air filter and fuel filter. You should be ok.
