When I engage the ac clutch it makes a Gog aweful noise. I quickly turn it off, then on, off etc.

After a few times (3 or 4) the noise quits and runs normal fpr a while, then the air start to blow lukewarm.

If it's possible can you tell from what I described or can you tell how to tell which one is going bad, or is the whole thing (Compressor) going bad.

Thank You.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

You may just have a simple loose belt, they will scream when a bit loose and as they heat up (friction from slipping) they will start to grip, check this out first, if it has been slipping you should consider replacing the belt as it will be damaged by now.

Thank you I hope it's just the belt. I will give that a shot.

If it was a bearing or a pump problem, I just can't see the problem going away like that, let me know how you get on.
