1990 Ford Cougar FRONT BRAKE DISC
Brakes problem
1990 Ford Cougar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles
I CANNOT GET ROTARS OFF THE FRONT , THERE IS A CAP THAT SAYS DO NOT REMOVE BUT THERE IS A BOLT 1 5/8 THAT WONT COME OFF, 1990 MERCURY COUGAR LS V6 CAN U HELP

It's just a hubless rotor that pops right off after removing the caliper and the bracket. If it's corroded around the hub area, use a large hammer to break it loose. Don't hit the braking surface if your planning on re-using the rotor.

i have tryed all that still wont come off, any sugg would help.

Spray some penetrating oil around the hub area. Other then that your just going to have to pay a shop to do it for you.
