i have spark and fuel but the car wont start. The car over heated and stoped I replaced the thermastat and the valve cover because there was oil on the spark plugs and the spark plugs and that fixed that problem of the oil getting on the spark plugs but the car still wont start

You got spark and fuel, now you need to check the valve and ignition timing

Would the timing have changed just cause it overheated. After it overheated it wouldnt start I started doing some inspecting and found the oil on the spark plugs. Replaced the valve cover and that solved that issue. When I had the valve cover off I looked at the timing belt and it seemed fine no cracks or wear.
