1996 Ford Contour with 2.0 engine
Original engine overheated, purchased salvaged engine and installed over Labor Day
Installed several new parts like timing belt, water pump, radiator, etc.
Put old flywheel on replacement engine.
Repaired insulation on several wires coming across top of radiator

Engine will turn over, but not start

Had to replace crankshaft sensor plug with best available fit from junkyard
Power is present at coil pack, fuel rail, and crankshaft sensor
Have fuel pressure, but no injection, also no spark at plugs
Swapped old crankshaft sensor, no help
No codes indicated on analyzer

Sounds like your ECM needs to be reprogramed to your vin number. If there is power and fuel pressure at the injector - and no ignition spark - then the ECM is not working properly...
