1989 Ford Bronco Overdrive
Transmission problem
1989 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150K + miles
When moving down the road in Overdrive the transmission is supposed to change gears around 45 but i have gotten it as high as 55 and it still refused to change gears. There is a fuse that is labeled [Turn Signals; Overdrive Transmission] but the signals work and it still refuses to change gears. It has larger tires could that affect it? I paid alot of money for this and i really need it to work out if you can help it would be awesome...

So i've been talking to my friend and he just laughed cause i am a girl trying to be a mechanic >.< he told me to check stuff like what kind of transmission it has because one of them only has three gears... also the throttle positioning sensor... and the actual shifter on the steering wheel... please help ._.
