new motor, crnk by hand ok, now in the truck can nto turn by hand or starter

If the engine is in the vehicle with the torque converter and transmission installed and it will not turn over either by hand or with the starter, check the torque converter 1st. (Should've replaced it when you rebuilt the motor.) When you go to check the torque converter, try to spin the motor over when you break the transmission away from the motor, that'll give you and idea as to which of the 2 it could be.
