ran out of gas, filled and it ran, parked and now truck won't start. Recently replaced parts...alternator, battery, pcv valve, recent fluid change. Since this problem...fuel filter replaced. I turn the key, can hear fuel injector hum, acts as if it is still out of gas, though there is gas in the tank, but will not fire up...help..cross country trip imminent in 10 days..help....

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge designed for your fuel system and get back with the readings so that we can continue to assist

checked the fuel pressure..none..so I replaced the internal fuel pump. Went through the repressurizing process. All the same symptoms...cranks but won't turn over. Also, cannot hear the new pump activating. Put a "stethescope" to tank and turned ignition to on...did not hear the hum...but heard clicking. Doing some reading...there are RPM's when I try to crank it...low , but they are there....am I looking at an ECM problem...if so, how do I check that?? Thanks
