1986 Ford Bronco turns over but wont start

This bronco has been sitting for a while maybe 6 to 9 months. It will turn over but wont start. The friend I got it from says it will start with starting fluid. The bronco has a 5.0litre v8 efi what could the problom be and where should I start

If it will start with starting fluid then the first thing you need to do is first check the quality of the fuel and drain the fuel if stale and then check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge.
