My 85 Bronco will not start. The only thing that happens when I turn the ignition is that the starter will whine. This is the third starter that I have put on it the other two the brackets broke. I have tried to turn the motor by hand to see if it will catch a different spot on the flywheel but it doesn't. The flywheel is not damaged. I have also tried to jump the solenoid but still nothing.

So your saying it sounds like trying to start a car after its already started? Sounds to me that the pinion on the starter is not engaging and you should examine it.
