What causes a 1981 for bronco to vapor lock. We have changed the fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filters and placed a kind of heat wrap on the fuel lines. Once the temperature gets above 90 the truck will stall out. If I take off the gas cap and the gas line at the carburator, then replace the gas line and wait about 1 hour it will start. Any sugesstions will be appreciated. Sherry Easton

Try some higher octane gas, and before turning it off rev it up then shut the key while holding down the gas pedal. You could try a throttle body spacer and see if that puts it up above the heat also, put some heat wrap around the carb on the manifold also, because it will boil in the bowl not just the lines.
