1987 Ford Aerostar not sure why it wont run
Electrical problem
1987 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles
the van was running then quit, just wouldnt start. it will start with starting fluid sprayed in the intake,but wont stay running, the fuel pump runs when i jump power to it, but still wont start without starting fluid. could the injectors not be working?

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge to rule out the fuel pump and also could be the injectors not pulsing.

the pressure is good from the fuel pump, what would cause the injectors not to pulse?

The computer's injector/s ground drivers.

so the computer needs replacing or is it repairable? where is it located?

The computer is located under left side of the dash above wheelwell
