I am restoring this old truck it has 302, 5.0 EFI Mustang engine. I am replacing the rubber fuel injection fuel lines and Motorcraft FG800A fuel filter. I want to integrate with quick connectors for nicer installation, and easier serviceability to change out the filter in the future. I have purchased the Doorman 800-121 and 800-120 rubber fuel line quick connectors for this. Problem is the Doorman quick connects work just fine on the output nipple of the FG800A filter, but not on the input of the filter. The connector will not engage/click/lock in place on the input nipple, like it does on the output nipple. It seem the input nipple is just a bit shorter (I believe is the problem). I guess (for now) I can use the output quick connector, and just use hose clamps on the input of the filter, like the person before me had done for both the output and input prior to me.

Try switching the clips around or just go get some at auto parts that are correct clamping hose there is can be up to 60 psi on that and best to get correct parts.

Those are not the type of connectors that this particular filter is designed to work with.
It uses the type in the image.

Thank you, I got all 300 PSI fuel injected rated fuel line and clamps already. I suppose I will just go with the way the person before me had, it with the rubber fuel injected fuel lines and hose clamps. As long as all is new and not dry rotted and cracked like the old stuff is.
I was just looking for a way to incorporate quick connects for the filter.
