I am getting a first cylinder misfire code. I would like to try to just replace the spark plug to cylinder #1 at first just to see if I’m barking up the right tree. I’ve replaced my ECM twice in this car and I’m hoping it isn’t that again. So, can someone show me what plug is for cylinder #1?

Hi,

No problem whatsoever. If you are standing at the front of the vehicle, cylinder one is the first one on the left of the engine.

If you look below, I attached both the firing order and the cylinder orientation for you. Take a look at it and let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Note, since you have a cylinder one misfire, inspect the spark plug closely to see if it is wet or corroded, and let me know what you find. Also, inspect the rubber boot that goes over the spark plug to make sure there is no evidence of arcing. If you notice gray spots on the boot, that is a good indicator.

Let me know what you find and what I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe
