Heater problem
2007 Fiat Punto Manual 28000 miles

I have a 1.2 Fiat Grande Punto, it was recently involved in a shunt were a car hit me whilst I was stationary, it went in for repairs to bumper and has come back to me but for some reason the heater/blower wont work? Was working when it went in but wont work now. If I turn the dial, nothing, Ive had a lose wire before so checked that, its not that, checked fuse its not that! Garage that did repairs say it couldnt possibly be anything to do with them, but Im really annoyed cos it was working fine when it went into them? Anyone have any idea? And also how much it would be to fix?

thanks

Check the crankshaft sensor. I have the similar problem. When your car decides not to start put your key in the ignition and turn it until your battery light comes on, you should hear a faint hum. Then check you manual to replace sensor.
