Engine not starting

Recently my timing belt broke. I have replaced valves that was bend etc. Everything has been replaced and put back. But now when we try to start the car the engine make sound like a vacuum cleaner and does not start. What can it be?

Check compression's first, and ensure that the valve timing is correct, start here and post back your findings for further assistance.
