Engine or exhaust leak

The mechanic said it has got either an exhaust leak or turbo leak and needs to be fixed for registration.
It is done 400 kilometers, but always immaculately maintained and all services and driving very well done. I have never missed an oil change etc. Can you to tell me the approximate what the cost is for either repair?Thank you and please.

This will depend on what is at fault, if just a gasket on the exhaust the cost will be minimal depending on what part of the exhaust if a pipe or muffler is at fault the price will also vary considerably, if the turbo is faulty this can cost a considerable amount but also pending on what is at fault, with out some exact detail I just cannot say, an exhaust repairer can quote on this after inspecting the problem first hand.
