After accelerating on the highway occasionally the Diesel Engine Pre-Flow light was flashing, then after a few km the engine light came on and my car started to make a different noise and not getting enough speed and acceleration.

what could possibly be the problem?

It sounds like the turbo has gone out or the wastegate is stuck open, but we should run the codes to see what's comes up.
