The engine is cranking but not starting,
After scanning the vehicle, the code that was present on the engine control was B2799 and there are other codes that are present in other modules attached as Image below.
What could be done?

Hi,

Wow! You got your hands full on this one. However, the one code that stands out is the one you listed above. It is related to the immobilizer system. That is where I would suspect the problem is coming from. However, page 1 that you attached indicates no codes related to the immobilizer. LOl

I need some general information. Does the vehicle have a smart key or not? I need that to know which direction to go in the diagnostics. (See pic below).

Let me know. Also, looking at the pics you attached, the codes appear to be present in the history and not active codes. Is that correct? Also, let me know if this is a hybrid or not.

Let me know.

Joe

Hello,
Good morning, sir,
The code appears both in history and current on the first image that I sent.
The vehicle is without smart key, and it is not Hybrid.

Hi,

Okay, I think I got it all. First, I attached the diagnostics related to the code for a non-intelligent key, non-hybrid. After that, I attached pics showing the locations you requested. Pics 9-12 are the ECU wiring schematic.

Starting with pic 13, I included the ECM connector pinout. Each pin is identified in the legend, its purpose, and wire color.

I hope this helps.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

You are very welcome. I can't remember for sure, but I believe the key transponder ECU is behind the HVAC box which requires the removal of the HVAC box. They make nothing simple. LOL

Take care,

Joe

Good morning, sir,

The problem was the key transponder ECU, replacing it makes the engine to start running.
Thank you very much.
