Engine cuts off. The coil wire to distributor is very hot. When cools off it will run.

This happens when the coil is starting to short out and needs to be replaced, I have included instructions below to help you with the repair. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
