Can anyone tell me how I would do an engine swap from my 1.8L engine to a 2.0 Turbocharged from another eagle talon
would I need the whole other car with the engine, would my transmission bolt up the same or would I have to swap transmissions too, would I need to change my car to the AWD
any help would be useful

If you havent purchased the turbocharged engine yet, I would highly suggest buy a 6 bolt engine. These 6bolts are less prone to crankwalk compared to the 7bolt. The 6bolt are from years 90-92.5. What you will need is the engine (block, head, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and intercooler and piping), ecu ( make sure it has eprom) & wiring harness. This is all I can remember from the top of my head. As far as the transmission, I am not sure if it will bolt up. Most people will suggest youre better off selling what you have for a turbocharged model. Its a hassle, but it can be done. No, you dont have to change to an AWD.
