1993 Eagle Summit 93 eagle summit wagon, auto trans problem
Transmission problem
1993 Eagle Summit 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
Hi there, I drive my wagon for about 30 minutes, the auto transmission seems slipping, no matter which gear it is. car won't go anymore. so I turn ignition key off and start engine again. it work normal , but only runs for a short distance, 50 to 100km. I have to turn off key and start again to make it runs back to home. Anybody out there knows about this problem. please help. thanks in advance. My car is a 2.4L front wheel drive 3 door wagon

Have you done a trans fluid change lately?

Yes, I did,about 2000km ago, I also replaced the filter, pan gasket. I checked fluid level OK.
