Hello, quick question regarding the tr3650 removal on the car listed above gt. I recently attempted this and failed to get the transmission to move back far enough for the input shaft to clear the pressure plate and lower from the vehicle.

Didn't seem to matter what I did, the transmission bell housing would always hit up against the body, preventing me from moving it back far enough.

I watched your video on this process and you guys made it look easy. Is there a particular trick or a very specific angle the transmission needs to be tilted in order to move it back far enough?

Thank you for your time.

Hello,

This is actually quite common issue. The transmission needs to be turned about 45 degrees to clear.

I have attached the transmission removal instructions below for your reference.

Please let me know if you are able to remove the transmission.

Thank you.

I will give that a shot on my next attempt. I think my problem was I had it ratchet strapped to the tranny jack so I couldn't twist it enough. I'll reply to this once I attempt this again. Thank you for your reply!
